ACUMED Scapula Plating System

Designed in conjunction with William B. Geissler M.D., the precontoured Scapula Plating System is designed to fit the specific anatomy of the scapula, allowing for better restoration of the functional angle of the shoulder joint. The anatomical plates typically don’t require any bending and can act as a guide to reduce fragments and fractures by closely matching the geometry of the patient’s anatomy. Because the plate system is designed to take advantage of the best available bone quality in the scapula, there is no guesswork on screw placement and a greatly reduced probability of additional surgery.
